Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and prevent theft or vandalism. Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security. Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce security policies and procedures while managing conflicts professionally and calmly to de-escalate situations. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately and promptly. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable; military background is a plus. Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and monitoring protocols. Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security procedures. Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail for detecting irregularities. Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; capable of responding swiftly in urgent situations.
