PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public-facing library location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and local responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public spaces, report maintenance or security-related concerns, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations in a timely manner. Support a welcoming environment by assisting patrons with directions and general questions while maintaining awareness of site rules and reporting concerns to Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
