We are currently seeking Unarmed Security Guards (Part Time) to work at various locations and facilities throughout the state of Michigan . This position involves providing a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors at assigned sites. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior). Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment. Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries. Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner. Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors. Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary. Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations. Unarmed Security Guard - Requirements Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Valid Michigan Driver's License Must be at least 18 years of age Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident Minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following: Law enforcement Military service Employment with a licensed security agency High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Must not have any felony convictions Must be mentally and emotionally fit to perform security duties Must be in good physical condition Must not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court order Must have no outstanding warrants Must be willing to have fingerprints taken Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency. Preferred Qualifications Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience. Experience with security technology and reporting systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Work Environment This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
