Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification Driver in Circleville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active while helping with routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering service with integrity, teamwork, and care.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, document visitor and vendor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, perimeter, gates, and parking areas, remaining aware of changing conditions and reporting potential concerns. Support emergency response activities by following post orders, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and assisting with traffic and/or vehicle screening procedures as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
