Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Reviewer in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovative service.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to support authorized access procedures for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors. Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily operations, and communicate important updates with site representatives, coworkers, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
