PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while assisting with access control, visitor direction, and/or crowd management during routine operations and special events. Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual observations in required reports, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
