PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations while maintaining a courteous presence. Support loss prevention and store operations by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd management during busy periods, and following post orders for alarm response and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
