PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, escort requests, and other service-related needs while following site protocols. Support daily operations by communicating with staff and supervisors, completing required reports, and remaining prepared to assist during medical, weather, and/or facility-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
Hospital-required vaccines are required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
