Corporate Security Officer

General Purpose of Position :

Perform daily security, safety, and public service duties. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, while assisting in various aspects of the facilities department. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) : Duties/Responsibilities 1 Oversee and administer security programs that control access to all of the campuses to ensure a safe work environment for all employees 2 Daily documentation of events that have occurred on campus(es) 3 Conduct regular patrols of all campus buildings and assist with events and activities located on the campus(es) 4 Professional customer service with employees, guests, vendors, contractors, and truck drivers 5 Able to manage complex issues in a calm professional manner, while ensuring the safety of employees and the campus(es) 6 Develop a working relationship with local law enforcement 7 Utilize security equipment, including CCTV, alarm systems and access control points. 8 Adhere to all SOPs, cGMPs, and COPs as directed by the

Company and Food & Drug Administration Travel :

Position may require 5-10% travel Must have a valid driver's license.

Work Shift :

This position works days, nights, and weekends. Overtime may be required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of CCTV and Access Software Must be observant and detail oriented Have a helpful and professional personality

Education and Experience :

Previous Security experience preferred Outstanding Customer service experience strongly preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

Required to stand, sit, walk, talk, see, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate equipment/controls/computer. Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. Most of the work environment is indoors, but outdoor work required. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to loud.
