As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Reporting in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or security-related risks. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in line with site policies and post instructions. Support day-to-day security-related operations by reporting maintenance concerns, escalating suspicious activity, and assisting with incident response and business continuity needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
