Duties Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or hazards Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening appropriately Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating tense situations and providing excellent customer service Skills Strong observational skills with the ability to identify unusual or suspicious behavior quickly Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring tools Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies Background in law enforcement, military, or security enhances your ability to handle complex situations effectively Excellent conflict management skills with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure Familiarity with security procedures and loss prevention strategies Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Embark on a rewarding career where your vigilance makes a difference!
