Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior using CCTV surveillance systems and on-site inspections. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR if necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures. Support conflict management efforts by calmly de-escalating disputes and ensuring a peaceful environment. Skills Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats quickly. Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and experience with security protocols. Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding effectively to emergencies or conflicts. Basic first aid certification and CPR training to provide immediate assistance when needed. Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and conflict management techniques. Experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is highly advantageous.
