Assistant Security Supervisor Fort Sill Apache Companies 2315 East Gore Boulevard, Lawton, OK 73501
Full-time Full-time Essential Functions:
Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service. Serve as Security Department supervisor and leader during your shift, planning and directing all security-related activities on assigned shift, supervising officers' activities to provide security for guests, team members and company property, ensuring effective communication between all areas of the casino as it relates to the guest experience. Patrol the casino property and parking lot, providing timely assistance and service. Use knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols to ensure compliance. Conduct property internal investigations involving team member or customer-related activities and incidents, preparing reports as required, including follow-up to criminal reports when necessary. Create work schedules for the team, provide on-the-job training, reviewing performance, timely completing evaluations, motivating, and developing team members and morale through mentoring, coaching and providing performance feedback. Ensure officers assigned to your shift comply with appearance and attendance standards, encouraging use of components of the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program. Investigate team member complaints and make recommendations to the Director. Study procedures to suggest and standardization and improvements in efficiency. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisor Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program. Regular attendance is required.Core Competencies:

While performing job duties the team member may be occasionally required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The team member may be required to stand for prolonged periods in confined spaces, work in extreme outdoor temperatures, walk, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift, move, push, pull and/or drag up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting. At a minimum, the selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test and obtain a gaming license.Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation Proven ability to work effectively with team members including management, and regulatory agency personnel Strong computer skills and an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with security-related management, information and reporting systems preferred In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws and local ordinances and regulations pertaining to security, surveillance, life/safety requirements, and applicable elements of employment law Experience with and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and/or regulatory agency reporting requirements regarding security and gaming surveillance Aptitude to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
