In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring a safe and secure environment through proactive monitoring, swift response to incidents, and effective communication with emergency services. Duties Monitor premises continuously using CCTV surveillance systems and conduct regular visual inspections to identify potential security risks. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed. Conduct thorough patrols of the facility, including perimeter checks, fence inspections, and yard audits to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, shift handovers, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping. Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening appropriately to deter theft or misconduct. Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations while following established protocols to support injured individuals until professional help arrives. Skills Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV systems. Certifications in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or law enforcement are highly desirable. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism at all times. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and experience in managing conflicts effectively. Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems; ability to operate surveillance technology efficiently. Strong communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders or team members.
