Position:

Armed Security Officer Key Responsibilities:

Patrol and Protection:

Perform routine patrols to deter potential threats and respond to incidents.

Armed Response:

Carry and maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms in compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Emergency Handling:

React quickly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Detailed Reporting:

Prepare detailed incident reports, maintaining accurate records and logs of all activities.

Conflict De-escalation:

Utilize communication skills to calmly diffuse tense situations, ensuring a safe resolution.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license and reliable transportation A valid Armed and Unarmed DPSST license is required. Applications submitted without a valid license will not be considered. Completion of firearms training and certification A duty firearm with a Level 3 Holster. Ability to pass an extensive background check and drug screening Military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required General Qualifications for

Position:

Ballistic Vest:

Must possess or be willing to acquire a minimum Level IIIA ballistic vest. Assistance or flexible options may be available to support acquisition. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and situational awareness High level of integrity and reliability Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
