Security Officer (Screener - Newport)

Newport Pay Rate:

$20.59 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 0830-1730

Responsibilities Include:

Conducting thorough facility entrance screening to ensure compliance with security protocols Performing security watch to maintain a constant and alert presence Conducting foot patrols of the facility grounds to monitor and report any suspicious activity

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and observational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Current DPSST certification or ability to obtain (training may be available)
