Armed Security Guard - Golf Tournament Executive Event Services, LLC - 3.7 Portland, OR Job Details Temporary | Part-time $40 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Customer service Driver's License Armed Security License Full Job Description Executive Event Services (EES Security) is hiring 10 experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team for one of the premier professional women's golf tournaments in Portland, Oregon. This is an opportunity to work a prestigious sporting event while providing a safe and secure environment for professional athletes, tournament officials, sponsors, staff, and thousands of spectators. Applicants with full tournament availability will receive priority consideration. Responsibilities Maintain a professional armed security presence throughout the tournament venue. Protect players, VIPs, tournament staff, spectators, and event assets. Staff access control points and verify credentials for restricted areas. Conduct proactive foot patrols of assigned locations. Monitor parking areas, equipment, and sensitive locations. Respond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents. Coordinate with supervisors, event management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain detailed activity logs. Deliver exceptional customer service while professionally enforcing venue policies. Minimum Qualifications Active Oregon DPSST Armed Security Certification (Required) Minimum 21 years of age Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Weekend availability required Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working armed security at major sporting events, concerts, or large public gatherings Military or law enforcement background Experience protecting VIPs or high-profile venues CPR, AED, or First Aid certification is a plus Hiring Process Qualified applicants will be contacted promptly for a virtual interview.
