• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Armed Security Officer will work in various settings and must be prepared to enforce laws and regulations while providing exceptional service. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to monitor premises and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment for security breaches or hazards. Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations while ensuring the safety of all individuals involved. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review. Participate in ongoing training programs related to loss prevention, surveillance techniques, and emergency response. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred. Must have current DPSST armed and unarmed license security license as per state regulations; must have completed necessary training courses.
