PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and other assigned activity. Support shipping and receiving area awareness by observing vehicle movement, employee and visitor activity, and/or property handling concerns, and communicate security-related issues according to site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
