Job Description

Overview Under the direction of the Security Manager, the Event Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a positive guest experience for all PPL Center patrons. Supervisors oversee the Security Staff, and ensure that they are adhering to the rules, regulations, and policies of the PPL Center while providing excellent customer service. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until July 24, 2026. Responsibilities Supervise Security Staff during shifts as assigned by Manager. Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Understands building layout, including restrooms, exits, rules, and regulations and has knowledge on all authorized credentials. Monitor guests and enforce rules. Assist in crowd management, seating discrepancies, and settling disputes. Inform Security Manager of developing problem. Respond in a quick and professional manner to incidents. Be aware of all special functions or activities that occur. Assist with the sign-in/out of all staff. Distribute uniforms and equipment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Must have excellent customer service experience. Strong problem-solving skills and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Effective oral communication and writing skills; bilingual is a plus. Ability to interact with guests and staff with a professional and friendly appearance and attitude. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and select holidays. Must have knowledge in surveillance, access controls, and fire alarm panels.
