Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential care location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter. Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or unusual behavior within the location. Support a welcoming residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, observing conditions on site, and communicating security-related information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
One or more years of law enforcement experience, or two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
