PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points as assigned. Monitor access to the location and help to deter unauthorized entry, disturbances, and/or unusual activity through visible presence and routine observation. Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating security-related information to residents, guests, and/or staff.
Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
