Job Description
Job Summary This is a part-time 1099 position. Hours will be 11pm-3am with opportunities for 4 hour shifts during the week. We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through surveillance, access control, and incident response. Your leadership and keen eye for detail will ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, creating a safe space for everyone on site. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise and law enforcement knowledge in a fast-paced setting. Duties Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and security activities accurately and clearly Enforce security policies and procedures consistently across the facility Requirements Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents precisely and professionally Knowledge of performing background checks and screening procedures effectively Certified in CPR and first aid (preferred) Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage team members and coordinate security efforts Familiarity with security systems, CCTV operations, and surveillance technology Ability to stay alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety protocols Join us in creating a secure environment where safety is our top priority!
