On-Call Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively when necessary.

This is an on-call position

Pay Rate:

$17.25/hr Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of premises, including access points, to prevent unauthorized entry. Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting and investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as required. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Requirements Strong understanding of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
