Job Description

Part-Time Armed Security Officer Needed•Islamic Society of Schuylkill County The Islamic Society of Schuylkill County in Pottsville, PA is seeking a reliable licensed armed security officer, retired law enforcement officer, or qualified security professional to provide visible security presence during congregational prayer services and community events.
Location:
Islamic Society of Schuylkill County 1043 E Norwegian St Pottsville, PA 17901
Schedule:
Fridays (Weekly): Approximately 12:30 PM•2:30 PM Eid Prayer (Next Wednesday, May 27): Approximately 7:30 AM•11:00
AM Responsibilities:
Visible on-site security presence Monitor entrances and parking areas Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment Coordinate with mosque leadership if concerns arise
Preferred Qualifications:
Armed security license and/or law enforcement background Retired police officers encouraged to apply Professional, respectful, and community-oriented demeanor Experience with houses of worship or event security is a plus
