Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Shifts Friday, Saturday & Sunday 1st

6am - 12pm 2nd

12pm - 6pm Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Conduct regular inspections of premises, including monitoring CCTV footage for suspicious activity. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid or CPR when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Document incidents and prepare reports on security activities for management review. Engage with the public in a professional manner, addressing concerns and providing information as needed. Monitor, report, and respond to security breaches or other unusual activity. Intervene in emergency situations to prevent the loss of life or damage to property. May be required to hold a certification card and/or be licensed by state to carry a firearm. May monitor video surveillance equipment. Sora card required Ability to stand for long hours Must have own Brown BDU pants & black sneakers or boots Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus. Military background or law enforcement retiree is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
