Job Description

As a Security Officer in Shippingport, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will serve as the front desk presence, welcoming visitors, managing access activity, and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and care. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor access at the front desk by checking credentials, logging arrivals and departures, and directing guests according to security-related policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details through appropriate channels. Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support badge, key, and/or visitor management processes in alignment with site requirements. Document daily activities, unusual events, and/or security-related concerns in required logs, reports, and communication systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
