Security Officer

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. This dynamic role involves monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a safe and secure environment. Schedule:

6am-3:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, & 12am-8am

Pay Rate:

$14.20 Duties Monitor surveillance footage using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities or security breaches Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and vandalism Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR if necessary Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating potential threats or disputes Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents or investigations Experience Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary Background in military or security services enhances readiness for this role Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of vigilance Join us as a Security Officer and become an integral part of creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive.
