Job Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain a safe environment through active surveillance, incident prevention, and emergency response. You will be the first line of defense, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are swiftly addressed. Your dedication will help create a secure space for everyone involved, fostering trust and peace of mind across our community. Duties Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure security protocols are maintained. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by checking credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and intervening in suspicious behaviors or activities that could lead to theft or damage. Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety hazards for record-keeping and future reference. Assist in providing first aid or CPR in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to effectively respond to medical emergencies. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring equipment. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during tense situations. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices. Ability to perform physical duties including standing for extended periods, patrolling large areas, and conducting inspections.
