DESCRIPTION

Provides security for patients, employees and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets and premises as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Sufficient previous experience to perform security and safety operations

Certifications/Licenses:

South Carolina Drivers License or applicable state drivers license required. A clear criminal record, verified in a background clearance by SLED(South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) at hire, updated annually. SC SLED License for private security required within probationary period. Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention required within probationary period and with annual re-certification. BLS certification preferred within probationary period.
