In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Your presence will serve as both a deterrent to potential threats and a reassuring figure for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee all areas of the premises, ensuring continuous surveillance coverage. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations, conflicts, or security breaches, utilizing skills such as first aid and CPR when necessary. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately reflecting daily activities and incidents. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness. Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or loss prevention are advantageous. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management strategies, and loss prevention techniques. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining a calm demeanor. Strong physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public. Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary licensing or permits required by local regulations for armed security personnel.
