Duties Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security breaches. Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR if necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Enforce facility policies with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring. Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations. Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances your ability to handle diverse scenarios. Excellent conflict management skills to resolve issues calmly and professionally. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to deter theft and protect assets. Experience with security procedures, including access control and incident reporting. Effective communication skills for clear documentation and interaction with team members and visitors.
