AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location. Monitor access control points by checking credentials, logging visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate entrance or department. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site. Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic, observing access gates and badge activity, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Access control or badge experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
