AM Job Description:

5:9 Protection Services is seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our residential apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be attentive, responsible, and able to respond effectively to any emergencies or incidents.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the premises to prevent and deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of residents. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including common areas and parking lots. Maintain a visible security presence to promote a sense of safety among residents. Respond to and report any incidents, disturbances, or emergencies in a timely manner. Interact with residents and guests professionally, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed. Enforce community policies and resolve conflicts with professionalism and calmness, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary. Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance records to document all activities accurately. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required to ensure swift resolution of incidents or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years old or older. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Previous security experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergencies. Must be physically fit to walk and patrol the property. Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Benefits:

Competitive pay range $14.00 - $16.50 per hour (This range is based on applicants with experience) Holiday pay and potential for overtime. Flexible scheduling.
