Responsibilities Monitor access points to control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors with precision and professionalism Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including building interiors, perimeters, and parking areas to identify potential security risks or breaches Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting Use surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity around the clock, ensuring the safety of all areas under your watch Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while providing courteous assistance to visitors and staff Assist in conducting searches or inspections when necessary to prevent theft or unauthorized access Requirements Valid armed security officer license or certification as required by local or state law Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a high-pressure environment Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining a professional attitude Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods comfortably Knowledge of security equipment such as surveillance systems, alarm systems, and communication devices Strong attention to detail with an active approach toward safety compliance and risk mitigation Embark on a rewarding career where your vigilance directly contributes to a secure environment.
