AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with property policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, issue temporary access credentials when authorized, and report unusual activity or policy violations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns and support a professional environment.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
