Position Summary:

Blue Life Security is seeking a professional, reliable, and attentive Unarmed Security Guard to provide safety and security at an industrial site. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including truck scale operations, access control, surveillance, and patrol duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the truck weigh scale computer system accurately and efficiently Enforce strict access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors Monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to suspicious or unauthorized activity Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting drivers, employees, and guests in a professional manner Conduct walking patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security compliance Document incidents, activities, and observations in daily activity reports (DARs) Respond to emergencies and follow established site protocols Communicate effectively with site management and security supervisors

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent required Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required Strong computer skills and ability to operate electronic systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous at all times Must pass background check and drug screening Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
