Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help maintain order and respond swiftly to any incidents. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises continuously. Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access, maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits. Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity by assessing the situation and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Enforce security policies and procedures diligently while managing conflicts with professionalism and calmness. Perform safety checks, including first aid assessments and CPR if needed, to assist injured individuals or address medical emergencies. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately for future reference and audits. Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable; military background is a plus. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology and loss prevention techniques. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while standing or walking for extended periods. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
