AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the medical location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter grounds, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing people to appropriate departments and/or resources when needed. Assist with de-escalation support and other security-related duties in areas that may involve patient and visitor interaction, while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
