Armed Security Guard-Monday - Friday - 7:30am-4pm - $18 per/hr

Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Guard, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding promptly to incidents. Your expertise in surveillance, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets. MUST HAVE A VALID ARMED GUARD LICENSE

• Duties Conduct thorough surveillance to monitor activity across the premises. Manage access control by verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees. Respond swiftly to security incidents, utilizing conflict management techniques and emergency protocols. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security operations or equipment setup. Operate security tools including Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR equipment during emergencies. Enforce loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft or suspicious activity and taking appropriate action. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and documentation of security activities for accountability and review. Skills Proven experience with surveillance and familiarity with law enforcement procedures. Background in military or law enforcement service highly preferred for tactical expertise. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use to handle emergency situations confidently. ( Preferred but not required ) Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety protocols. Ability to perform background checks accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
