Job Description:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Patrol & Surveillance Conduct regular walking patrols to enhance safety and identify/report concerns. Monitor facility access points; verify IDs and credentials. Monitor surveillance feeds for signs of threats or breaches. Incident Response & Reporting Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents using established protocols. Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations.

Perform routine tasks:

locking/unlocking doors and managing security systems. Customer Service & Policy Enforcement Assist visitors and employees, address concerns professionally. Enforce security procedures per Security Post Instructions. Ensure compliance with SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).

Minimum Qualifications:

The State of Tennessee requires that you must have or obtain and maintain a valid Security Officer/Guard License when providing any regulated activities in the State of Tennessee Must be at least 18 years old.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Minimum:

Ability to perform in high-paced, potentially stressful environments. Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) Strong situational awareness and curiosity. Ability to stay calm, problem-solve, and act effectively in critical situations. Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet for reporting.

Preferred:

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break. Sit for at least 1 hour without break. Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping. Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping.
