Hospital Security Officer

Duties:

THIS IS FOR FLEX TO EVENTUALLY FULL TIME

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential threats.
• Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or alarms and take appropriate action.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions when needed.
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Conduct thorough investigations of any security breaches, accidents, or incidents and complete detailed reports.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.

Requirements:

• No felonies, or violent misdemeanors Pass a drug High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred, not needed.
• TN Unarmed or Armed License a big plus.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
