Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated premises to deter unauthorized access and prevent theft or vandalism. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and packages entering or leaving the facility. Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee critical areas continuously. Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches, alarms, or emergencies using established protocols. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or incidents. Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive, ensuring immediate care for injured individuals. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Valid firearms license and certification to carry an armed weapon in accordance with local laws. Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certifications in first aid, CPR, and emergency response are essential. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices.
