PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or potential loss prevention concerns to site contacts and local law enforcement when appropriate. Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily operations while following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
