AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document security-related incidents, visitor activity, and/or daily observations in accordance with site guidelines. Support emergency response activities and follow post orders for a dynamic technology location where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
