Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities for a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations, unusual activity, and/or policy concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or abnormal conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and help to support site rules related to restricted areas, vehicle access, and contractor movement. Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, operational concerns, and/or changing conditions that may require additional attention.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
