Armed Security Officer Southern Security Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time $15 - $20 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Military First aid First Aid Certification Guard Card Armed Security License Patrolling Security Law enforcement Full Job Description Armed Security Officer - Job Duties aund unamred Security OFFCIER Must be License as armed security or unarmed security offcier We have post in San Antonio Corpus Christi TX and the surrounding areas Primary Responsibilities Maintain a strong, visible security presence to deter criminal activity Protect people, property, and assets while carrying a firearm responsibly Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas Monitor entrances, exits, and access points Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations De‑escalate conflicts and manage high‑risk situations professionally Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and law enforcement Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards Duties Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies using first aid and CPR skills when necessary Enforce loss prevention protocols to minimize theft and unauthorized access Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations Conduct routine patrols of the premises, including restricted areas, to ensure safety and compliance with security policies Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly Skills Proven ability in surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and legal considerations related to security operations First aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies Experience in conflict management with strong interpersonal skills for de-escalating tense situations Background in security services, military, or law enforcement highly preferred Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures for safeguarding assets Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times We also looking for unarmed security officers Join us as a Security Officer and become an essential part of creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
