Security Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.

THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.

Duties:

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
• Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle to prevent unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task
• Have some basic knowledge of computers
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification is highly desirable
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
• Familiarity with surveillance techniques and procedures
• Previous experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Must obtain and maintain a Private security License with the state of Texas (we can direct you how to obtain one)
• Must obtain a TWIC credential (we can direct you on how to obtain one)
