Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Officer in Irving, where your vigilance and dedication will help maintain a safe and secure environment for all. In this role, the Officer will provide a safe, professional and controlled educational environment while reducing the risk of physical altercations, threats or disruptions involving students, visitors or outside individuals. Your commitment will contribute to a secure atmosphere that fosters trust and peace of mind for everyone on site. Duties Must be professionally uniformed doing shifts Must currently possess an active unarmed security license issued by the state of Texas. Must possess a reliable vehicle for patrol duties. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively Conduct routine patrols of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential hazards Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and addressing theft or vandalism attempts Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting health emergencies with confidence and professionalism Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for record-keeping and future reference Skills Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on conflict management Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and customer interaction Proven ability to enforce rules while respecting individual rights in a diverse environment Remain alert, proactive and responsive during all assigned shifts. Pay:
