Unarmed Security Guard

National Protective Service is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Unarmed Security Guards to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe environment while delivering a strong, respectful presence. Our officers are often the first point of contact, so professionalism and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity Monitor property, entrances, and surrounding areas Conduct routine patrols (foot and/or vehicle) Control access for residents, guests, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and service calls Write clear and accurate daily activity and incident reports Provide excellent customer service and assist residents or clients as needed Enforce property rules and follow site-specific post orders

Qualifications:

Valid Guard Card (BSIS for California) Prior security or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stay alert and make sound decisions under pressure Basic report writing and smartphone/app usage skills Reliable transportation and punctuality

Work Environment:

Residential communities, commercial properties, retail locations, or events Indoor and outdoor duties depending on assignment Day, swing, and graveyard shifts available
